When You Travel Through Me, On Purpose

A slow and deliberate yawn creeps across my face.  My hand cups and covers my mouth, eyes pinched shut, but right before that connection happens-

You sneak in me, before a chance to shut you out arises. And now you’re inside me, spiraling through. Taking up residence in my skull, doing the wash in my heart and tugging at my eyelids like the blinds that hang in the kitchen window.

I suppose you’re home.
